    1. Assist the Statutory Safeguarding Business Partner in the overall organisation of the SSCP, its groups and governance structure.

    2. Provide consultancy, advice, support and challenge to SSCP members and groups when required.

    3. Ensure that the voices of individual service users and communities who are impacted by abuse and crime are heard in the work of the SSCP.

    4. Be responsible for the development, review, revision and consultation of SSCP materials in a variety of formats (including digital) as needed. This includes any multi-agency practice guidance, local and regional policies and procedures, reports and briefings using different media.

    5. Collaborate in the planning and facilitation of the annual review of SSCP’s Strategic Plan and contribute to the publication of the annual reports.

    6. Be responsible for co-ordinating, attending and advising the Chair of the relevant SSCP group. Responsible for working with the chairs of Partnership groups to develop, maintain, oversee the implementation of and review group Business Plans. This includes leading on the co-ordination and facilitation of task and finish work and chairing where necessary to support the work of the Partnership group.

    7. Welcome and induct new members of SSCP.

    8. Manage the co-ordination and facilitation of specific projects for the SSCP and its groups, including undertaking specific pieces of work on their behalf upon agreement.

    9. Be responsible for the co-ordination and planning any SSCP events ensuring that they are within budget and provide value for money.

    10. Be responsible for leading on the Anti-Social Behaviour Case Reviews, initiating contact with the victim to ensure that their voice is heard and captured within the process as well as liaising with involved and responsible agencies.

    11. Responsible for managing the delivery of any statutory case review process; including Local Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews, Safeguarding Adult Reviews and Domestic Homicide Reviews. This includes:

      1. Managing the commissioning process for Independent Reviewers.

      2. Initiating contact with the victims and their families (where appropriate) to ensure that their voice is heard and captured within the process.  As well as liaising with involved and responsible agencies.

      3. Co-ordinating, reviewing, implementing and monitoring the learning approach to case reviews; providing challenge to the process when necessary.

      4. Ensure the dissemination of learning from case reviews across the SSCP networks, including planning learning events and briefings.

      5. Overseeing the completion of action plans and reporting progress to the Shropshire Safeguarding Community Partnership.

    12. Take a key role in the assurance, performance and improvement activity of the Partnership, including:

      1.  Ensuring the development, maintenance, analysis and reporting of multi-agency performance datasets and profiles.

      2.  Developing, co-ordinating, collating, analysing, evaluating and reporting on multi-agency audits and agency self-assessments (including statutory reporting).

      3. Preparing the Partnership for multi-agency inspection.
