The Work From Home Hub is a space designed to simplify the search for remote roles, offering support and advice to those seeking flexible employment. It is also a resource hub for individuals already working from home, providing guidance, tools, and inspiration to help them thrive in a work from home environment. And for employers, it offers the insights and support needed to build happy and high performing remote teams.
Meet the The WFH Hub founder - Kat
Katrina Rutter founded The Work From Home Hub in March 2020, having already spent 10 years building and leading high performing, remote based customer service teams, primarily within the fast-paced courier industry.
Since 2017, Kat had been keeping a record of other organisations using distributed customer service teams, initially as a resource to share with unsuccess applicants and to learn and share best practice. In response to the pandemic in March 2020 The Work From Home Hub Facebook page was born, which has grown to a community over over 320,000 individuals in 2025.
During her time running The Work From Home Hub, Kat has discovered that there is a great lack of support for job seekers, especially those looking for remote/flexible working and even less so for those who need to work from home. Kat has made it her mission to change that with The Work From Home Hub and after pivoting in her career to work in Digital Transformation, she took the leap away from employment to focus entirely on The WFH Hub in December 2024.
