A bit about the role
This role plays a central part in delivering and growing a dynamic volunteering programme within a collaborative and supportive team passionate about outdoor learning and youth development. Working closely with colleagues across multiple centres and engaging with volunteers from around the world, the position focuses on coordinating volunteer recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing support.
The role ensures volunteers have a positive and rewarding experience while contributing to a wide range of activities, events, and centre projects. It also supports the development of stronger volunteer pathways, including training, alumni, and ambassador initiatives, helping to build a connected and engaged volunteer community.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the expansion of a national volunteering programme, gain experience across multiple locations, and develop skills in volunteer management, programme development, and stakeholder coordination, while making a meaningful impact on the experiences of young people.
