Salary: £40,775 to £45,000 per annum

  • About The Role

    We have a new opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our fantastic Technology team.

    Here at the Royal British Legion, we are currently embarking on an exciting new phase with our Customer, Technology and Change directorate. Together this team, covering Technology, Data Protection and our Transformation Management Office, takes great pride in supporting across RBL with all things technology, security, digital, data, programme management and change initiatives. It’s a great time to join as our organisation begins to drive our new 10 year strategy and ensures we are best able to continue to make a difference to our Armed Forces community now and for the future.

    The Business Analyst position will see you play a key role in helping our organisation understand, shape and deliver effective change across people, process, data and technology. Working within the Business Analysis Practice, you will ensure that change initiatives are grounded in clear requirements, robust analysis and a deep understanding of user needs.

    You will work closely with colleagues across Technology and the wider organisation to analyse issues, explore opportunities, and translate business needs into actionable insights and documentation. Your work will contribute directly to the delivery of high‑quality solutions by producing user stories, process maps, functional and non‑functional requirements, and supporting delivery teams through the full change lifecycle.

    You will have significant experience working as a Business analyst within complex organisations, delivering change across people process, data and technology. You will have demonstrable experience of requirement analysis, user story development and process mapping. You will be a strong communicator, able to engage with stakeholders and to translate ambiguity into clear, actionable insights.
