BACKGROUND
For more than 20 years, we’ve worked alongside schools and communities across England and Scotland, listening to children and young people and campaigning with decision makers to ensure their voices are heard. We’re working to create the conditions every pupil needs to start the day feeling nourished, valued, and empowered to reach for their dreams.
Every child and young person should arrive at school hungry to learn, not distracted by a rumbling tummy. Yet 2.2 million children across the UK are at risk of going hungry in the morning. That’s five pupils in every class of 30. Breakfast is about so much more than food; it’s about giving children and young people the energy, focus, and confidence to learn, thrive, and dream big. Working with schools in disadvantaged communities across England and Scotland, Magic Breakfast is a charity that helps every child and young person reach for the dreams, one breakfast at a time.
Our mission is simple: to champion and provide nourishing breakfasts, ensuring every child and young person has the best possible start to their day. But we know we cannot do this alone. Ending hunger takes all of us; schools, communities, families, policymakers, supporters, and partners, coming together to make sure every pupil has what they need to thrive.
By joining Magic Breakfast, you will become part of a passionate, ambitious organisation driving lasting change for children and young people across the UK.
