    About the Team
    The Philanthropy team plays a vital role in generating high-value income to support the National Autistic Society’s mission. Working across trusts, foundations, statutory funders and major donors, the team develops strong relationships and delivers impactful funding partnerships that enable our services and strategic priorities.

    About the Role

    As Senior Philanthropy Manager (Trusts and Foundations), you will lead the development, growth and delivery of our trusts, foundations and statutory fundraising portfolio. Managing a pipeline of high-value opportunities, you will secure significant income, including six-figure gifts, while delivering an excellent supporter experience that builds long-term engagement.

    You will provide strategic leadership, line manage the Trusts and Statutory Manager, and work collaboratively across fundraising and wider organisational teams to develop compelling cases for support aligned to funder priorities.

    What You’ll Do 

    • Lead and grow a portfolio of trusts, foundations and statutory funders, ensuring a strong pipeline of high-value opportunities

    • Secure significant funding by managing and developing relationships with existing and prospective supporters

    • Develop compelling funding proposals, reports and cases for support in collaboration with internal stakeholders

    • Deliver high-quality stewardship and engagement to maximise long-term supporter relationships

    What We’re Looking For 

    • Proven experience securing significant income from trusts, foundations and/or statutory funders

    • Strong track record of delivering against fundraising targets and managing pipelines

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling proposals

    • Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
