Working hours: 15 hours per week
Salary: £17,600 to £19,600 (£44,000 to £49,000 FTE) depending on qualification and experience

The Role
Apprenticeships are central to our recruitment and development strategy. As an accredited provider since 2021, we deliver high‑quality, tailored apprenticeship training across schools, nurseries and education support roles.
We are seeking a confident and passionate IT Programme Lead to design and deliver our Level 3 Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship. You will design and deliver engaging training that blends theory and practical skills, assess apprentice progress, provide mentoring and support, and lead curriculum development from scratch.

Mentor and support apprentices to succeed

Work with IT teams across schools and central services
About You
If you have experience in IT apprenticeships or a strong technical background in IT management, and you’re passionate about mentoring learners to help them thrive, United Learning wants to hear from you! As the country's largest educational charity, we're expanding our apprenticeship team with a new programme and an inspiring new Programme Lead.
We’re looking for someone ready to take on the challenge of designing and delivering an engaging, Innovative and Ambitious Information Communication Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship programme.
Possess a teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, AET, CET, DET, or equivalent)
Demonstrable experience in a relevant technical and vocational field
Proficient in IT with knowledge of Computing Vendor certifications and ideally hold certifications such as A+, MS-900, or AZ-900
Possess an MSc (ideally in a technical subject)
Experience with virtual labs
Level 2 English and Maths qualifications (GCSE, A Level, or Functional Skills L2)
