Location: While the role is home-based, the successful candidate will be required to attend team meetings at our head office in Birmingham and visit our schemes as needed.
Working hours: Full time - 35 hours per week/70 hours over two weeks (nine-day fortnight)

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced People Services Advisor to join our fabulous and award winning, People and Culture team here at Housing 21.
In this role, you’ll be the go-to advisor for operational managers across your business area, providing high-quality guidance on all people matters, from complex employee relations to performance and absence management. You’ll be coaching and mentoring managers, building capability and confidence through workshops and one-to-one guidance.
This role goes beyond operational HR – you’ll also have the chance to support and lead HR projects and initiatives, contribute to organisational change, and help improve processes and policies across your area.
Working in close partnership with the People & Culture Business Partner for that area, you will also partner with managers and leaders, providing insights and guidance to influence decisions and drive positive outcomes for our employees, managers, and residents. You’ll also support engagement initiatives, using HR data and metrics to spot trends and recommend solutions.
This fast-paced and varied role is perfect for an experienced HR professional who wants to combine operational expertise with strategic influence, making a real difference in a people-centred organisation.

What we’re looking for
The essential requirements for the role include:
Experience in a HR Generalist or Employee Relations role, working at advisory level.
Strong knowledge of employment law and ACAS Early Conciliation.
Experience managing complex employee relations cases and high-risk situations.
Confidence in using HR systems, data, and reporting tools.
Highly desirable.
Experience in projects and organisational change.
