Level Up Academy Coordinator (South of England)
Employer: MYTIME Young Carer
Location: This is a home-based, locality-focused role within either Devon, Hampshire & Isle of Wight, Oxfordshire or West Sussex, working directly with partner schools across the area. The postholder will be required to travel regularly to schools, partner organisations, and events as part of programme delivery, with occasional attendance at MYTIME Head Office as required. Due to the nature of the role, a full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
Temporary: This is a fixed-term role funded for an initial period of four years
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week (FTE)
Salary: £31,200 - £33,500

The Level Up Academy Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, delivering, and embedding the Young Carer Champion Academy (YCCA) across partner schools within a defined locality.
The role combines high-quality professional training delivery with relationship management and commercial awareness. The postholder will work closely with school leaders, pastoral teams, and designated Young Carer Champions to influence practice, strengthen inclusive systems, and ensure training leads to improved identification, stronger support structures, and lasting change.
The role requires confidence working with education professionals and the ability to translate engagement into sustained programme partnerships.
Responsibilities
Training Delivery
• Deliver the accredited two-day Young Carer Champion Academy (YCCA) to education professionals, facilitating engaging, practical sessions that build confidence and competence in identifying and supporting young carers.
• Adapt training delivery to different school contexts while maintaining high professional, safeguarding, and quality standards.
Embedding Practice in Schools
• Support schools to translate training into practice by developing effective identification pathways, support systems, and whole-school approaches to inclusion.
• Provide structured follow-up and guidance to support sustainable implementation and longterm culture change.
Relationship & Partnership Management
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior leaders, DSLs, and pastoral teams, acting as the primary MYTIME contact for partner schools.
• Maintain ongoing engagement through regular communication and review points, influencing practice and ensuring strong partner satisfaction and retention
Generating Interest & Programme Growth
• Proactively develop and manage a pipeline of potential partner schools through networks, events, referrals, and targeted outreach.
• Convert interest into booked training by clearly articulating the value, impact, and outcomes of the YCCA, identifying opportunities to expand provision within existing partnerships.
Monitoring & Quality Assurance
• Track delivery, engagement, and implementation progress across partner schools to ensure fidelity to the accredited programme model.
• Gather feedback and outcome data to inform reporting, continuous improvement, and future programme development.
Qualifications and Experience
• Background working in or alongside schools, colleges, or education services, with a sound understanding of safeguarding, pastoral systems, and inclusive practice.
• Proven ability to design or deliver workshops, CPD, or professional training for adult learners.
• Track record of building and sustaining effective professional partnerships with stakeholders such as senior leaders, pastoral teams, or external organisations.
• Confidence promoting a service, programme, or training offer, including articulating value and converting interest into committed engagement.
• Strong communication, coordination, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple relationships and priorities.
• High level of confidence using Microsoft 365 and other digital platforms, including CRM and
Learning Management Systems, to manage delivery, track engagement, and maintain accurate records.
