Marketing Communication Specialist*

Temporary: 1 year (12 months)  

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00  

Salary: £13.20 per hour (weekly pay through Manpower Scotland)

  This role is an excellent opportunity for an energetic Marketing Communication Specialist to support a busy regional MarCom team. You will help shape campaigns, develop creative assets, and coordinate events while gaining hands?on experience in a fast?moving environment. Ideal for someone looking to grow their marketing skillset in a fully remote role.

  
  
  Key Responsibilities
  
  

  • Assist in creating brochures, flyers, emails, landing pages, and other communication materials.

  • Support planning and project management for internal and external events.

  • Track email performance and recommend improvements.

  • Update interactive tools (iPad/IT systems), booth designs, literature, and shipping materials.

  • Create and schedule social media posts.

  • Track inventory and organise logistics.

  • Upload and maintain accurate data records.

  
  
  Requirements
  
  

  • Ideally has experience using Adobe design tools and a creative background.

  • Marketing degree would be beneficial.

  • Basic understanding of biology or willingness to learn.

  • Some previous marketing experience is an advantage.

  • Fluent English (written and spoken).

  • Strong command of Microsoft Office.

  • Familiarity with HTML, web tools, and design software (InDesign, Adobe Suite, etc.).

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise.

  • Excellent time management, communication, and teamwork skills.

  • Able to work autonomously.

  • Willing to learn new technologies and applications.
