We’re hiring for a proactive, detail-oriented Executive Assistant to join us on a 6-month Fixed Term / Secondment to provide a comprehensive, confidential, efficient and effective range of executive support services to our Group Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
This is a key role at the heart of the organisation, supporting senior leaders to operate smoothly, professionally and proactively-while helping us deliver the best outcomes for our customers, colleagues and partners.
About the role
As Executive Assistant to the Group Senior Leadership Team, you will provide a confidential, professional and highly effective administrative and secretarial service that enables senior leaders to operate efficiently.
The role also involves arranging Director attendance at conferences and seminars, coordinating travel and accommodation through the Group’s corporate travel system, and ensuring senior leaders are fully briefed and always supported.
Key responsibilities
Manage diaries and inboxes, scheduling meetings and ensuring all preparation is completed to a high standard.
Prepare and circulate meeting materials including documents, presentations, board reports, action trackers and minutes.
Register Director attendance at conferences/seminars and coordinate travel and accommodation via the corporate travel system.
Provide dedicated support to specific Directors (business streams/corporate service leads).
Act as the first point of contact for SLT, liaising with internal and external stakeholders including Non-Executive Directors.
Manage SLT correspondence, ensuring swift and accurate replies, draft responses where appropriate and coordinate input from others.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure appropriate matters are progressed in a senior leader’s absence.
Provide research and briefing materials, manage subscriptions to publications and portals as required.
Maintain a robust electronic filing system to ensure accurate information is accessible when needed.
Organise events, seminars and away days (venues, catering and attendance), and attend as required.
Support the creation, formatting and timely submission of board/committee reports in line with Governance timescales.
Provide cover for other EAs across the Group as required.

What we’re looking for
Essential
Strong skills in diary and inbox management, prioritisation and coordination of multiple competing demands.
Experience producing high-quality documents such as minutes, reports, presentations, action trackers and meeting packs.
Excellent written and verbal communication, including managing sensitive correspondence with professionalism.
A high level of discretion, confidentiality and sound judgement.
Confident using Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and working with electronic document management systems.
Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders at all levels.
Desirable
Experience of supporting multiple Directors or senior leaders simultaneously
Experience administering travel platforms and producing data reports.
Experience of financial administration (expenses, invoices, PO processing, reconciliations).
Experience supporting recruitment processes and interview coordination.
