Salary: £31,000.00 - £35,000.00 per annum

The Procurement Engagement Officer acts as a critical link between our Stakeholders, the Home Office and the Engagement Executive, ensuring the smooth handling of high-level queries, procurement escalations, and contractual obligations. This role involves providing clear direction on responses and actions, being present at all relevant internal and external meetings as deemed appropriate. They must also ensure all agreed actions are documented and executed in a timely and effective manner.
The role requires exceptional communication and organisation skills to navigate complex issues and maintain a strong partnership with all key stakeholders. The role will require a proven track record in engagement and stakeholder management.
Duties and Responsibilities
Procedures
Serve as a point of contact for all external and internal stakeholders on property procurement queries, ensuring prompt and professional resolution
Build and maintain strong relationships with multi agency representatives and other key stakeholders to foster collaboration and trust
Attend meetings to document discussions, decisions, and action points with precision and make Engagement Executive aware of any actions required to be resolved.
Track, monitor, and report on the progress of actions, escalating any issues or delays to senior leadership as needed
Monitor the engagement inbox, data documents and internal drives to make sure information on contacts is up to date and relevant.
Connect and Collaborate
Work closely with cross-functional teams, to ensure coordinated responses to queries and actions
Stakeholder Management: Proven experience in managing relationships with senior-level stakeholders, ideally within a government or public sector context
Exceptional Communication: Ability to articulate complex issues clearly, concisely, and diplomatically
Work with procurement data analysts to understand and interpret procurement data and inform future procurement planning
Provide insights and recommendations to Engagement Executive to address procurement challenges and improve service delivery plans
Ensure all actions and responses adhere to organisational policies, contractual requirements, and regulatory standards
Work closely with your line manager and team members
Provide cover for other staff as agreed by line manager at meetings

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions, queries, and actions in line with company policies and audit requirements.
Prepare regular reports and updates for internal stakeholders and the Home Office, highlighting key issues, progress, and risks.
Keep up-to-date with all written and verbal communications (i.e. emails/messages/calls)
Talented
Identify recurring issues or challenges in procurement and property queries and propose process improvements to enhance efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.
Contribute to the development of best practices for managing high-level queries and stakeholder communication.
Monitor own work levels, progress and development in the role
Undertake all core learning and development programmes as required
Undertake all relevant learning as agreed by line manager
