About us
At Arbor, we’re on a mission to transform the way schools work for the better.
We believe in a future of work in schools where being challenged doesn’t mean being burnt out and overworked. Where data guides progress without overwhelming staff. And where everyone working in a school is reminded why they got into education every day.
Our MIS and school management tools are already making a difference in over 11,500 schools and trusts. Giving time and power back to staff, turning data into clear, actionable insights, and supporting happier working days.
At the heart of our brand is a recognition that the challenges schools face today aren’t just about efficiency, outputs, and productivity - but about creating happier working lives for the people who drive education every day: the staff. We want to make schools more joyful places to work, as well as learn.
About the role
We are looking for a friendly and engaging Customer Education Specialist to join our Customer Education team and help us provide expert guidance and support to educational institutions in optimising, using, and finding value from Arbor MIS.
The remit and focus of the role is to work closely with educational organisations to assess their needs and ensure effective utilisation of the MIS. The breadth of your role includes training and consulting with schools but also supporting a range of managed services including troubleshooting issues, conducting system audits, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive efficiency and improve educational outcomes.
Core responsibilities include:
Deliver online and in-person training sessions.
Design and deliver tailored services to schools, MATs and partners based on professional knowledge.
Pitch training and consultancy appropriately to users and partners, delivering this accessibly for diverse audiences.
Articulate Arbor's functionality and best practices to help customers maximize their use of the product.
Manage services for schools, including setup for new school years, assessments, etc.
Stay updated on product developments and regulatory changes.
Maintain and refresh training materials to ensure relevance.
Self-reflect and provide feedback to enhance the overall customer experience.
Travel to national client sites and Arbor offices as needed.
