Employer: National Deaf Children's Society

Location: Home Based (UK), willing to travel on occasion to collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders

Working hours: Part time, 28 hours per week

Salary: £25,376- £28,800 pro rata (£31,720 - £36,000 FTE)

    • The Role

    • We are looking for a Audiology Adviser to play a crucial role in using your expertise in childhood deafness to shape high-quality information & advice for families and professionals. You’ll work collaboratively to strengthen our engagement with the audiology sector and influence decision-makers locally and nationally. This is a unique opportunity to apply your clinical knowledge in a strategic, community-focused setting to make a real difference for deaf children. 

       

      What you'll do

       

      • Provide specialist audiological insight to support services for deaf children and families.

      • Translate complex clinical information into accessible language for diverse audiences.

      • Collaborate across teams and sectors to influence positive change in audiology practice.

      • Contribute to shared learning and continuous development within the organisation.

      • Apply agile principles and digital tools to enhance service delivery and innovation.

      • Engage confidently with the audiology sector to represent and advocate for best practice.

       

      What you'll need

       

      • Qualification in audiology and experience working with deaf children and families.

      • In-depth knowledge of paediatric audiology and current UK clinical guidance.

      • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.

      • Strong digital skills and a sound understanding of agile values & principles.

      • A criminal record check / DBS disclosure (if offered the position).
