Web Product Manager

  • We’re looking for a passionate and user-centred Web Product Manager to join our Digital team at the National Autistic Society.

    We’re a charity with a clear mission: to create a society that works for autistic people. Our website is central to that mission - supporting everything from advice and guidance to campaigns, events, fundraising and training. We’re investing in digital technology to drive innovation across the full breadth of our content and services and this role will help shape the next phase of that journey, making our digital experiences more accessible, engaging and effective.

    This is a full-time position for 35 hours per week. The salary for this position is £37,000 - £39,000 per annum.

    Who we are looking for
    You’ll be confident managing digital products, improving user journeys, and collaborating across teams. You’ll bring a strong understanding of accessibility, user-centred design, and data-informed decision-making. You’ll be comfortable switching between strategic thinking and hands-on delivery, and you’ll care deeply about making digital experiences work for everyone.

    We’re looking for someone who:
    • Has demonstrable experience managing digital products and improving user journeys
    • Is confident using analytics tools (GA4, Looker Studio, Hotjar etc.) to understand user behaviour and inform decisions
    • Understands accessibility standards (WCAG) and how to apply them
    • Can conduct user research and usability testing to uncover opportunities
    • Is empathetic, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement
    • Can translate user needs and organisational goals into practical digital solutions
    • Is comfortable working remotely and managing their own workload

    You will be responsible for
    • Contributing to product roadmaps across fundraising, events, campaigns, and core website improvements
    • Designing and optimising user journeys to ensure clarity, accessibility, and impact
    • Applying agile principles and overseeing the product lifecycle from discovery to delivery
    • Conducting user research, usability testing, and market analysis
    • Identifying and solving user pain points, technical issues, and content gaps
    • Championing autism-friendly design and inclusive digital experiences
    • Collaborating with UX designers, engineers, community managers, and external partners
    • Monitoring performance and making data-driven improvements
    • Staying up to date with digital trends and best practices
