Employer: Save My Exams

Location: Remote (UK)

Temporary: Fixed-term contract: 9-12 months (maternity cover)

Working hours: Full time

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000

  • Save My Exams is a rapidly growing EdTech business on the lookout for an experienced Senior CRM Manager to cover maternity leave on a fixed-term basis. We are an exciting, customer-obsessed, remote-first startup that is improving the lives of millions of students every year.

Reaching more than 4 million users every month, all while being bootstrapped and profitable, we’re looking for a strategic, hands-on CRM leader to drive our customer lifecycle marketing function and empower students to succeed with confidence.

This is a unique opportunity to lead CRM at a profitable EdTech business during a pivotal period. You'll own the end-to-end customer lifecycle strategy  and play a key role in embedding CRM as an essential, value-add function across the business.

We are passionate about solving challenging and meaningful problems and looking for people who care about making a real difference in the lives of students and teachers.

    The Role

This is the role for you if:

    • You have significant experience leading CRM or lifecycle marketing functions, ideally in a product-led or subscription environment

    • You're equally comfortable with strategy and execution - you can set the vision and get into the detail of journeys, segments, and reporting

    • You're passionate about AI tools and see them as a way to work smarter, whether that's automating template creation, streamlining reporting, or accelerating campaign builds

    • You have proven line management experience and enjoy developing team members

    • You have strong data literacy and can define success metrics, run A/B tests, and translate performance data into actionable insights

    • You're confident owning cross-functional relationships and can advocate for CRM's value across Product, Growth, Content, and Insight teams

    • You have a deep understanding of CRM best practices across deliverability, segmentation, and personalisation

    • You’re willing to get your hands dirty - comfortable building campaigns, writing copy, and owning execution alongside strategy

    • You're adaptable, thrive in dynamic environments, and can hit the ground running

    Job requirements

    • Based in the UK (we're remote with flexible hours)

    • Deep understanding of CRM analytics, including defining success metrics, forecasting, A/B testing, and incrementality measurement
