Virtual Facilitator

    Are you looking for a flexible and remote based role? Do you have access to a good Wi-Fi connection and a laptop/desktop with webcam and audio? Excellent working knowledge of ZOOM?

    At CIM (The Chartered Institute of Marketing) we are seeking a Virtual Facilitator to join the organisation on a zero hour contract basis.

    The working pattern may vary daily however, the hours tend to be between 08:00hrs and 22:00hrs Monday - Friday. Approx. 2 or 3 hours per session.

    This is a casual role with no guarantee of the hours but on average we can offer 10 to 12 hours monthly.

    About the role:

    To manage customer expectations by supporting and facilitating CIM training courses that are delivered virtually via Zoom or any other video conferencing platforms across the different business areas of the Commercial Department, Open, Business Solutions and CIM Academy. 

    In a typical shift you might:  

    • Support the Course Director throughout the training delivery by managing customer requirements or technical issues.

    • Cross reference and register attendees, reporting back to the Client Services team with any discrepancies. 

    • Ensure the training session is recorded when required. 

    • Co-host the training course with the Course Director by launching polls or breakout rooms as and when requested.

    • Immediately report any issues that occur during the training course to the Client Services Manager or Client Services team.

    • Ensure all data and operational protocols are adhered to throughout the virtual facilitating process. 

     

    For this role, you'll need:  

    IT Equipment

    • Use of own laptop/desktop with webcam and audio - essential

    • Good Wi-Fi connection - essential 

     

    IT Skills

    • Experience of using virtual platforms such as Zoom 

    • Confident PC user, comfortable working with MS Office

    • Experience of using CRM systems - desirable 

     

    Communication Skills

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

    • Excellent grammar and spelling

    • Communicates all needs, instructions and decisions clearly

    • Good organisation and time management
