VoiceAbility are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Head of Finance and MI, you will play a key role in embedding financial leadership across the organisation and supporting informed, strategic decision-making.
Working closely with stakeholders and management teams, you will bridge the gap between finance and the wider business, ensuring financial insight directly informs strategy, service delivery and investment decisions. You will provide trusted advice on financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, pricing and business case development, helping stakeholders identify opportunities, manage risks and improve financial performance.

About you
We are looking for a qualified accountant with strong management accounting or finance business partnering experience who can combine technical financial expertise with a collaborative, commercial approach. You will have experience managing budgets, including those funded through external contracts or grants and be confident translating financial data into clear, actionable insight for non-finance colleagues or senior stakeholders.
You will bring strong Excel and financial modelling skills, excellent communication abilities and experience contributing to tenders or bids. You will be proactive and solution-focused, with the ability to identify and manage financial risks, whilst building strong relationships with operational teams.
Experience within the charity or not-for-profit sector, local authority commissioning, grant funding, health/ social care would be desirable- alongside an understanding of restricted and unrestricted funds.

Working closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders, you will turn financial information into clear, meaningful insight, helping teams to understand their budgets, manage resources effectively and identify opportunities and risks.
Your expertise will help ensure that our resources are used responsibly and effectively, enabling VoiceAbility to continue delivering high-quality advocacy services and making a meaningful difference to people’s lives.
