We are the national independent regulator for organisations that remove, store and use tissue for research, medical treatment, post-mortem examination, teaching and public display. A unique opportunity has become available for a Project Manager to join our Data, Technology & Development team. The post holder will play a key part in supporting the HTA to achieve its vision by providing project and programme leadership to a range of priority areas which support the Human Tissue Authority’s strategy.
Reporting to the Director of Data, Technology & Development and with strong Project Management experience, the post holder will be the point of contact for projects and programmes of work in the portfolio and will have excellent communication skills.
This is a leadership role with line management responsibilities that extend to key programmes of work. The postholder will oversee effective and accurate project monitoring and reporting to support successful delivery.What we can offer you...

What you will bring…
We are looking for an experienced project and programme manager with wider leadership ambition.The postholder must have experience of developing and maintaining suitable project plans, ensuring workstream tasks are clearly identified, tracked and resource requirements and usage effectively monitored. The role will also need to co-ordinate delivery of programmes where the resource and responsibilities cut across the wider organisation.
You will have experience of organising and facilitating Working Group meetings, ensuring minutes are accurately recorded and tracking actions with a focus on successful delivery.
Excellent communication skills both written and oral and confidence engaging with and managing stakeholders relationships effectively, is crucial to succeed in this role.

You will need to be able to demonstrate resilience and flexibility of approach to manage uncertainty and ambiguity whilst remaining focused on outcomes.
