Location: Homebased - Flexible, United Kingdom

Working hours:  Full time 37 hours per week. Flexible/Compressed hours will be considered

Salary:  £32,471 (National) or £38,143 (London - for London office based or home-based workers within the boundary of the M25) - There is also an additional homeworking allowance of £581 per annum for those working from home. Please note for part time roles – this will be pro rata.

    As a Portfolio Standards and Assurance Analyst, you’ll help ensure our change projects are set up for success—supporting delivery teams with the right tools, standards, and assurance to make a real impact on health and care services.

    In the role of Portfolio Standards and Assurance Analyst in the Change Portfolio Office, you can:

    • Lead assurance reviews for major programmes, helping senior leaders make informed decisions based on clear evidence.

    • Develop and roll out new standards and tools that improve how project teams work across the organisation.

    The role
    You’ll work closely with others to deliver shared outcomes. In this role, you’ll:

    • Support assurance planning: Coordinate assurance reviews and ensure they align with key delivery milestones, helping teams stay on track.

    • Champion best practice: Develop and promote standards, tools, and processes that improve project delivery across the portfolio.

    • Provide expert guidance: Offer training and coaching to colleagues, helping them apply assurance and standards confidently and effectively.

    We will be looking for specific skills, knowledge and experience in your application form:

    • Experience supporting change delivery: You’ve worked in a project, programme, or portfolio environment and understand how assurance and standards help drive success.

    • Ability to communicate clearly: You’ve produced reports or insights that helped senior leaders understand risks, outcomes, or improvements.

    • Knowledge of project management methods: You’ve used recognised approaches like PRINCE2, MSP, or MoP to support delivery and improve ways of working.
