Role: Team Leader Administration (Finance)– Hackney Children’s Homes
Salary - £30,333.00 (pro rata) – inc. of London allowance £3333,00 per annum
Location: Hackney London - Hybrid working -a mixture of home working and time in the homes themselves (as required)
Contract/Hours: Permanent – 17.5 Hours per week – actual days and hours to be agreed with the successful candidate.
First stage interviews will be held on MS Teams with a second stage interview at the home(s).

About the role:
We are looking for a Team Leader Administration who will be responsible for providing an effective, efficient administrative service, supporting two homes in the London Borough of Hackney
This person will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective administration, compliance, performance monitoring, and operational coordination of two trauma-informed children's homes. They will provide high-level business support to the Registered Managers and senior leadership team, ensuring services remain inspection-ready, financially robust, fully compliant, and capable of delivering outstanding outcomes for children and young people.
What you do could make a difference:
Workforce Administration including training, timesheets, payroll submissions, health, and safety, emphasis is on finance.
Regulatory Compliance for Ofsted Readiness.
KPI and Performance Monitoring.
Financial Management including forecasting, purchase order and invoice management and monitoring expenditure against budgets. You will report on financial performance.
Management and guidance of one other administrator.
About You
Our job description for the Team Leader Administration outlines the requirements of the role but the must-haves are:
Business Administration or Management S/NVQ Level 3, equivalent qualification, or demonstratable experience.
Having excellent organisation and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills.
Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion.
Experience of budgeting, forecasting and income and expenditure monitoring
The ability to analyse data and pull together concise reports.
Strong skills in the Microsoft Suite including, Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
Staff management experience.
Oracle experience (desirable).
You must be a confident professional who can provide robust challenge to managers, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
