Role Information
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic individual to deliver our Teaching Academy qualifications to the next generation of teachers. You will be responsible for the development and delivery of a range of programmes, including the Level 3 Award in Education and Training, the Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement and the Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance.
Delivery will be primarily online, allowing flexible, home-based working. The role will require the delivery of targeted sessions focused on inclusive practice, learner engagement and support. There will also be occasional face-to-face sessions and assessments depending on learner demand and programme requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver engaging, inclusive, and differentiated teaching sessions, ensuring effective progression of learners.
Assess and provide constructive feedback on learners' work, clearly identifying areas of achievement and areas for improvement.
Manage learners' records and progress through regular, accurate use of digital systems for assessments, learner portfolios, progress monitoring, and attendance tracking.
Embed Maths, English, digital literacy, and personal development effectively throughout curriculum delivery.
Ensure all learner records and reporting are kept up to date and provided in a timely manner to support management reporting and audit requirements.
Participate in quality assurance activities, working closely with the quality team.
Maintain and enhance relationships with business support teams to support the delivery of the sector plan.
Foster a positive and supportive learning environment, promoting professional standards, behaviours, and expectations in line with industry requirements.
Undertake continuous professional development to maintain current industry and teaching practice standards.
Conduct your role in a way that actively promotes the LCG’s ethos, culture, values, and expected behaviours

Assessor qualified, A1, TAQA, CAVA, or D32, D33
Recognised Level 5 teaching or training qualification in Lifelong Learning
Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice, V1or D34
Experience delivering teaching qualifications
Proven track record of meeting targets
Good level of IT Skills
Excellent communication and coaching skills
Driven and enthusiastic to support learners
Passionate about transforming people’s lives through learning
Self-reliant and able to manage own workload
Good organisational and planning skills
Ability to work effectively as a member of a team
