The Supporter Relations Team plays a pivotal role in building relationships with our supporters and assisting our fundraising team to raise vital funds that will support our mission to beat blood cancer within a generation.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with great communication, organisation and interpersonal skills. The main purpose of this role is to deliver excellent customer service to our supporters through written and verbal communication, and ensure efficient administration of donations and maintaining accurate data on our CRM system.
The role of Supporter Relations Assistant would suit someone energetic, organised and confident at communicating. As the first point of contact for our supporters, you will be able to build a rapport with supporters over the telephone, have good written communication skills and be a quick learner. You will also have experience of using a CRM or database, which will be vital when processing donations and recording communications with supporters. The role is varied and fast paced and requires efficiency and accuracy, as well as teamwork.

Deliver high quality supporter care across all channels so that supporters feel valued and remain engaged.
Resolve supporter enquiries promptly as the first point of contact so that issues are addressed efficiently and service levels are met.
Provide outbound stewardship over the phone for campaigns and events to strengthen supporter relationships and improve fundraising outcomes.
Accurately process interactions, registrations and donations so that fundraising activity runs smoothly and income is correctly recorded.
Maintain high quality supporter data in CRM systems to enable reliable reporting, compliance and informed decision making.
Apply GDPR and fundraising regulations to protect supporter data and ensure compliant operations.
Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing insights and helping refine supporter experience and team processes.
Collaborate with colleagues across Engagement to support campaigns, events and shared organisational priorities.
Participate in organisational events and activities to support the wider mission and maintain connection with the blood cancer community.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Knowledge
Understanding of personal data and GDPR principles in a supporter or customer-facing context
Skills
Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to adapt style and tone to suit a range of audiences.
Strong attention to detail.
Good interpersonal skills that support positive relationships with supporters and colleagues
Ability to manage multiple projects tasks simultaneously and prioritise effectively under pressure.
Experience
Experience or willingness to learn and use CRM or database, including data entry and using insights to inform service.
Experience or willingness to work collaboratively with other teams to develop or deliver products and communications
