Social Media & Administration Assistant
Employer: Pink Spaghetti Chelmsford & Brentwood
Location: Remote-first (occasional meetups in London/Essex – equipment provided).
Working hours: Part-time PAYE role (not freelance) 12 hours per week to start, with potential to grow, flexible – either 4 hours over 3 days or 3 hours over 4 days. Must be available Mondays and Fridays.
Salary: £12.60/hour (£7,862.40 pro rata)

As a thriving franchise of the Pink Spaghetti network, we provide flexible, high-quality virtual assistant services to a diverse range of small businesses. From admin and social media to personal
support and project management, we’re known for our reliability, adaptability, and smart solutions.
You’ll be working directly with Johanna, the franchise owner for Chelmsford & Brentwood (not the national head office), supporting her business as well as clients' day-to-day needs.
Your main job duties will include:
Researching and writing engaging social media content and blog posts.
Creating graphics and reels using Canva.
Writing newsletters and website copy.
Updating websites (e.g. Wix or WordPress).
Completing admin tasks via clients' systems.
Providing day-to-day business support.
Your key qualities:
Excellent written English.
Experience using Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X (Twitter).
Confident with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Familiar with Canva.
Creative flair and strong communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Customer-focused with a positive, can-do attitude.
Works well both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable skills:
Platforms: WordPress, Wix, Asana, Slack, Meta Business Suite, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn.
Tools: Canva, Google Workspace, Microsoft PowerPoint.
Admin and executive support.
Experience working in fast-paced or corporate environments.
Familiarity with project management tools.
