This is a great opportunity to play a key role in supporting our CEO, Executive Team and Board of Trustees as we work to improve the lives of people living with cancer.
About the role
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Board Manager and Chief of Staff/Company Secretary to provide highquality governance and secretariat support. You’ll help coordinate Executive and Trustee meeting cycles, prepare agendas and papers, take accurate minutes, and keep actions and decisions on track. You’ll also support trustee inductions, maintain governance recordsplan our Board away days, manage logistics and communications, and ensure information is handled with professionalism and discretion.
You’ll play an important part in keeping our governance framework running smoothly with a continuous improvement approach — from maintaining policy review cycles and governance calendars to supporting audit and regulatory requests. You’ll also work with colleagues across the Chief Executive Office to provide seamless support during busy periods or absences.

Professional discretion when handling sensitive information
Strong relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders
A proactive, self motivated approach and willingness to learn
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
An interest in developing your understanding of charity and company governancethe role that Executive Teams and Trustees play
