This is a full time, permanent position based remotely within the UK with occasional travel to Cornwall as needed.
You'll help us by:
Developing and implementing our business-critical IT infrastructure. Maintaining Architecture diagrams and documentation for Hardware and Applications infrastructure.
Deploying and testing new appropriate technologies, business applications and systems integrations.
Implement and configure technologies to support capacity and availability management. Ensuring that appropriate measures are taken to secure and backup all systems and data.
Assisting with operational services and our 3rd party providers in resolving major incidents, with the development and implementation of our IT disaster recovery plan and associated processes.
Maintaining information security and data protection standards in line with all relevant legislation, regulation and company policies.
Participating in CAB meetings.
The skills you'll be sharing with the team:
In-depth hands-on experience of managing and supporting complex virtualised server environment
Operating to service levels; experience of working to ITIL standards
Strong technical knowledge and demonstrable experience of 5 or more of the following technologies:
-MS Windows Server
-MS Active Directory / Entra
-MS SQL Server
-MS SharePoint
-MS Remote Desktop Services-Azure Stack proficiency
-Cloud computing environments
-Citrix Apps and Desktop
-LAN and WAN Networking
-Cisco Certification
-Virtualisation
-SAN Storage Technologies
-VOIP
Demonstrable experience in server system troubleshooting techniques using highly specialised tools
Proven experience of working within an IT Technical Services support function.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
