We’re recruiting for a Sales Support Executive on a 12 months FTC. We’re offering a competitive base salary.
A chance to join a collaborative, customer‑focused team supporting advisers and regional sales colleagues across our Retirement Income business. This role suits someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and contributing to a high‑performing sales environment.
What you'll be doing:
Supporting quote requests and inbound sales queries to meet agreed service levels and targets
Building strong working relationships with regional sales teams and intermediary firms
Completing follow‑up activity such as quote chases, discovery calls and onboarding firms to our digital application system
Developing a detailed understanding of intermediary needs to help identify and maximise business opportunities
Recording all quotes, calls and interactions in Salesforce to provide insight into market activity
Taking part in training, workshops and product learning to maintain and grow your knowledge
Supporting colleagues across the Retail division through knowledge sharing and upskilling
Implementing Consumer Duty requirements by monitoring sales activity and escalating concerns
Who we're looking for:
Experience in telephone‑based sales or customer support, with the ability to influence decisions
Confidence in presenting information clearly and engagingly
Knowledge of the annuity or wider retirement income market, or an interest in developing this
Understanding of the intermediary advice process and how products support customer outcomes
Ability to build rapport and maintain strong professional relationships
Strong organisational skills and accuracy when managing multiple tasks
A proactive approach to learning, development and adapting to change
RO1 or equivalent is helpful but not essential
