Sales Executive

Employer: School Jotter

Location: Remote / Work from Home

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 depending on experience

  • School Jotter is one of the UK’s leading providers of school websites and digital learning platforms. Thousands of schools across the UK use our products to engage parents, support teaching and learning, and stay compliant with the latest Ofsted and DfE requirements.

We’re now looking for a Sales Executive to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships with schools, and helping headteachers, business managers, and MAT leaders find the right digital solutions for their communities.

Your mission? Connect with schools, understand their needs, and show them how School Jotter can make their digital presence shine.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities with schools and multi-academy trusts.

    • Conduct outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and webinars to engage new prospects.

    • Deliver online demos and presentations showcasing School Jotter’s products and services.

    • Work closely with marketing and product teams to align campaigns and messaging.

    • Maintain accurate CRM records of all interactions, leads, and opportunities.

    • Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

    • Represent School Jotter at education events, webinars, and exhibitions.

    • Proven experience in B2B or education sales, ideally selling to schools, MATs, or local authorities.

    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

    • A consultative approach to selling – listening first, then presenting solutions.

    • Strong presentation and negotiation skills, both online and in person.

    • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working remotely.

    • Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).

    Desirable (But Not Essential)

    • Experience in EdTech or SaaS sales.

    • Knowledge of school website compliance, Ofsted requirements, or digital learning tools.

    • Understanding of the UK education sector and decision-making structures.

    What We Offer

    • Competitive salary (£30,000 – £35,000 depending on experience) + commission.

    • Hybrid and remote working flexibility.

    • Opportunity to work with thousands of schools across the UK.

    • Career progression and sales training opportunities.

    • Friendly, supportive, and high-performing team culture.
