The role
This is a new role, funded for one year, that will strengthen EIDA’s evidence-informed resources and help employers take safer, more effective action on domestic abuse. Working across research, writing and resource development, you will ensure that EIDA’s guidance reflects the latest evidence, emerging practice and the needs of employers.
You will lead the review and development of EIDA’s Resource Bank, including updating the EIDA Handbook, producing new practical resources and evidence summaries, identifying gaps in existing content, and working with partners and subject matter experts to develop resources on priority topics.
The role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled researcher and writer who is passionate about translating evidence into practical action and making complex information accessible to busy employers.

Key responsibilities
Lead the review, updating and development of EIDA’s evidence-informed resources for employers, ensuring content reflects current evidence, good practice, trauma-informed and person-centred approaches, and the needs of employers responding to domestic abuse.
Responsibilities will include:
Updating the EIDA Handbook, including reviewing existing content, incorporating relevant evidence and employer insight.
Co-producing perpetrator resources to support employers to respond appropriately where employees may be using abusive behaviours.
Undertaking a gap analysis of EIDA’s existing resources, identify priority areas for new or updated content, and produce concise evidence summaries to underpin future resource development.
Developing new and updated Resource Bank content.
Supporting increased employer engagement with EIDA resources by ensuring they are clear, accessible, practical and relevant to employers across sectors and organisational contexts.
Monitoring existing and emerging evidence, policy developments and trends relevant to employers and domestic abuse to inform all EIDA’s work.
Working with partners, specialists and people with lived experience to strengthen the quality and relevance of resources.

Contribute to wider organisational priorities and projects as required.

Interviews will take place on Wed 30 September and Thursday 1 October, remotely.
We will hold a final-stage interview on Monday 5 or Tuesday 6 October, when final candidates will be invited to meet our CEO. This will be an opportunity to discuss the role, EIDA’s work and ways of working in more depth.
