Regional Programme & Partnerships Manager (Birmingham)

Employer: LTSB 

Location: Home based with reasonable proximity to Birmingham. Travel regularly across Birmingham and occasionally nationally as required. 

Temporary: 2 year fixed-term contract 

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, full-time  

Salary: 35,000 per annum

  • About the role

    The Regional Programme & Partnerships Manager will play a central role in leading and growing LTSB’s work across Birmingham.

    This is a varied role that combines programme delivery, schools engagement, employer partnerships and youth employment support to create meaningful pathways into careers for young people from underrepresented backgrounds.

    The postholder will be responsible for delivering LTSB’s Birmingham programme activity, including employment programmes, FutureYOU delivery and employer-led experiences, while also developing relationships with employers, schools, referral partners and community organisations that strengthen local impact.

    Working closely with colleagues across Programmes, Employment, Corporate Partnerships and Fundraising, the role will ensure a joined-up and high-quality experience for young people, employers and partners.

    The role is suited to someone who is passionate about social mobility, confident delivering engaging programmes, skilled at building relationships and comfortable managing a varied workload across delivery, partnerships and regional
    development activity.

    Who we're looking for

    Please see the job pack for a comprehensive person specification. However, we are looking for:

    • Experience delivering engaging youth development, employability, education or early careers programmes.

    • Strong understanding of social mobility and the barriers faced by young people from underrepresented backgrounds.

    • Experience working with employer engagement, corporate partnerships or regional stakeholder development.

    • Experience supporting young people through coaching, mentoring, pastoral support or similar approaches.

    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence engaging a range of stakeholders.

    • Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently and deliver against agreed targets and timelines.

    • Strong organisational and administrative skills with good attention to detail.

    • Experience maintaining accurate records, handling data appropriately and contributing to reporting and evaluation.

    • Good digital and IT skills including Microsoft Office, CRM systems and project management tools.

    • Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities when working with young people.
