Location: This role operates primarily on a remote working arrangement that will require roughllittle to no travel into our Coventry head office or various campuses. Our working model arrangements are a non-contractual benefit so please note that an Arden work location is added to our employment contracts.
Temporary: Fixed Term Contract for 9 months
Working hours: 37 Hours per week
Salary: £48,000 - £55,000 per annum

About our Department:
The Provost’s Office serves as the central hub for all academic-affairs, projects and initiatives throughout the University. This includes a Project Management, Change Management and Business Analysis function which plays a crucial role in ensuring success of academic and enhancement initiatives across Arden University. Our team provides expertise in planning, execution and transformation to ensure projects and initiatives align with objectives and goals.
About the Opportunity:
This role leads the delivery of strategic projects and change initiatives for the Provost Office, ensuring they are aligned with institutional priorities and delivered on time, within scope, and to the required quality. You will act as a central coordinator for organisational change, working closely with academic leaders and professional services to manage dependencies and drive progress across multiple workstreams.
You will translate strategic objectives into clear, deliverable plans, coordinating cross‑functional teams and supporting effective engagement through communication, reporting, workshops, and feedback. The role covers full end‑to‑end project management—from scoping and requirements gathering through to implementation, transition to business‑as‑usual, and post‑project review—ensuring minimal disruption to teaching, research, and wider University activity.
About You:
You will have a proven track record of delivering strategic projects and managing complex change within Higher Education or a similarly large, multifaceted organisation. You will have the ability to translate institutional priorities into clear, deliverable plans and lead cross‑functional teams through the full project lifecycle.
You will have excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, enabling you to interpret requirements, assess risks, and shape effective, evidence‑based solutions. You will have strong interpersonal and influencing skills, working confidently with academic leaders, professional services colleagues, and programme teams to build alignment, manage dependencies, and drive progress.
You will have a structured, disciplined approach to stakeholder engagement, using clear communication, reporting, workshops, and feedback mechanisms to support the adoption of new ways of working. You will have the organisational capability to embed successful change across the University while minimising disruption to teaching, research, and wider operations.
