About the role
We’re looking for a passionate and organised Programme Officer (BA Online) to support our growing online BA (Hons) and MA programmes.
This is a varied, student-facing role where you’ll act as a key point of contact, providing academic support, coordinating programme delivery, and helping ensure an exceptional student experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll work closely with the Senior Programme Officer and Senior Programme Manager to:
Support the day-to-day delivery of BA and MA online programmes
Provide mentoring, study support and 1–1 academic tutorials
Deliver and facilitate online classes, seminars and webinars
Coordinate digital course content (including editing and uploading to the VLE)
Manage programme administration processes and improve procedures
Ensure teaching sessions are staffed and organised, including arranging cover
Coordinate assignment marking and feedback processes
Support external examiner requirements and quality assurance processes
Create engaging weekly student newsletters
Contribute to events, activities and wider team support
What We’re Looking For
Essential
At least 2 years’ experience in an educational setting
A degree-level qualification
Experience using and developing Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs)
Excellent communication, writing and proofreading skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and remotely as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
A genuine interest in music (ideally as an active musician)
Desirable
Video editing skills
Music production knowledge
Experience creating engaging written content (e.g. newsletters)
Project management experience
Awareness of mental health and SEND
