    That’s nearly a third of all adults in the UK.

    We are Fair4All Finance. We are a not-for-profit organisation working with Financial Services providers to improve the financial wellbeing of people in vulnerable circumstances by increasing access to fair, affordable and appropriate financial products and services.

    We are continuing our work following our latest round of funding, and as a result we are now seeking a Programme Manager – Innovation & Development (I&D) to lead high-impact programmes that improve financial inclusion and help shape the future of fair and affordable financial services across the UK.

    This role will manage programmes from early shaping and design through to delivery, evaluation and continuous improvement. You’ll work with a broad range of stakeholders including credit unions, delivery partners, regulators, government bodies and financial services organisations.

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong programme management experience who enjoys working in complex environments and is motivated by delivering meaningful social impact.

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead programmes through the full lifecycle, from shaping and procurement through to delivery, governance and evaluation

    Apply systems-thinking and insight-led approaches to refine programmes and improve outcomes

    Manage programme governance, reporting, risk, delivery partners and procurement activity

    Support agile and iterative programme development, adapting approaches as new insight emerges

    Build strong relationships with stakeholders across financial services, government, civil society and the credit union sector

    Collaborate and influence effectively to support successful programme delivery and sector-wide solutions

    Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing culture while role modelling Fair4All Finance’s values

    Support effective programme budgeting, operational delivery and supplier management

    Essential experience & qualifications:

    Experience leading and delivering large-scale or complex programmes

    Strong programme management capability across governance, procurement, risk and evaluation

    Demonstrable understanding of financial products and services

    Commercial awareness and understanding of sustainable product delivery

    Excellent stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills

    Experience managing multiple priorities and working effectively in ambiguity

    Desirable experience

    Experience working with credit unions or community finance organisations

    Experience engaging with regulators, government or financial services stakeholders

    Experience developing services or products for customers in vulnerable financial circumstances

    Experience leading people, teams or cross-functional delivery groups

    Founded in 2019, we are funded from the Dormant Assets Scheme. The scheme is led by the financial industry and backed by the UK government. This makes it possible for money in dormant bank and building society accounts to be used to help good causes.
