    About you 

    You might already be a Product Manager, or you may be coming from a school, Trust or education background with a strong interest in product thinking. Either way, you’ll bring: 

    • A strong understanding of the UK education sector and the pressures schools and Trusts face 

    • Confidence interpreting national datasets and DfE measures 

    • The ability to turn data into clear, meaningful insight and recommendations 

    • Comfort working directly with school and Trust stakeholders 

    • A collaborative, curious mindset and enjoyment of working across disciplines 

    Product management experience is welcome but not essential – we’re equally excited by candidates with deep sector knowledge and a clear aptitude for building great products. 

    The role 

    As a Product Manager at Juniper, you’ll own products that transform complex education data into clear, actionable insight. Working closely with colleagues across Product, Engineering and the wider business, you’ll ensure that data from multiple sources is combined coherently to tell a powerful story for schools and Trusts. 

    You’ll bring a strong understanding of the education landscape, including national datasets and DfE measures, and translate this knowledge into tools that deliver immediate, practical value to users. 

    You’ll report to the Product Manager Team Lead and collaborate regularly with school and Trust stakeholders to validate ideas, test assumptions and continuously improve what we deliver. 

    What you’ll be doing

    Shaping product strategy & discovery 

    • Owning the road map for data-focused products aligned to customer needs and business goals 

    • Identifying opportunities to combine data across products to unlock richer insight 

    • Leading discovery to understand real user problems and prioritise work based on impact 

    • Staying up to date with DfE releases, national datasets and sector trends 

    Working closely with customers & stakeholders 

    • Engaging with school and Trust staff to understand pressures, test ideas and gather feedback 

    • Translating customer challenges into clear product opportunities 

    • Building strong relationships across Engineering, Sales, Support and Customer Success 

    Delivering valuable data products 

    • Defining requirements, use cases and success measures for dashboards and reports 

    • Ensuring data is used accurately, responsibly and consistently 

    • Supporting Agile delivery with regular iteration and learning 

    • Using analytics and feedback to improve products post-launch 

    Connecting insight across the portfolio 

    • Developing a deep understanding of how data is structured across products 

    • Collaborating with other Product Managers to align definitions and approaches 

    • Identifying gaps where joined-up insight could better support schools 

    Supporting Sales & Marketing 

    • Helping clearly communicate product value and real-world use cases 

    • Providing product insight, training and demonstrations when required
