THE OPPORTUNITY
A fast-growing membership platform connecting two sides of a marketplace is looking for a Product Data Analyst to join their expanding data team. The company is planning an exit in 1-2 years, meaning equity could pay out in a meaningful timeframe - a rare and genuinely exciting upside on top of a strong base package.
The data team has been built from the ground up over the last six months and now includes a Data Manager, Data Engineer, Senior Analytics Engineer, and Data Scientist. They've recently introduced DBT and Databricks, and this role sits within the Product arm reporting into the Data Manager.
This is a high-autonomy, high-impact role - you'll work directly with product managers, engineers, and UX designers on projects that shape how the platform grows and how members experience it.
THE ROLE
You'll be the embedded analytics partner to the product team, working across member experience, growth, and product performance. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Delivering clear, accurate analysis that informs product decisions and business priorities
Running discovery pieces on user behaviour across web and app journeys
Owning SQL-led data exploration, modelling, and validation
Building and maintaining dashboards to support self-serve analytics
Setting up and auditing event tracking to ensure accurate data
Supporting experimentation from design through to interpreting results
Leading enablement sessions to upskill stakeholders on data and self-serve tools
Working independently across varied projects with minimal hand-holding
CURRENT PROJECTS
App Behaviour - Auditing how users engage with the app, identifying gaps in understanding, and pulling together documentation around key metrics.
Virality - Understanding how the platform grows through word of mouth. Identifying platform advocates and exploring how to turn regular users into advocates through research and experimentation.
Member Experience - Analysing how members use the platform with a focus on ensuring they're successful in finding what they need.
WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR
Strong SQL proficiency and confidence working with large datasets
Experience with BI or data visualisation tools (any stack)
Ability to work autonomously and deliver high-quality analysis independently
Comfortable partnering with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders
Solid grounding in product or user behaviour analytics within ecommerce, platform, or subscription environments
Proactive, curious mindset with strong communication skills
Nice to have: Python, DBT, Databricks, or event tracking experience
BENEFITS
Up to £55,000 base salary
10% annual bonus
Equity (exit expected within 1-2 years)
Fully remote with offices in London and Brighton
Quarterly in-person meetups fully expensed
