  • The Procurement Officer will play a vital role in managing procurement activities to ensure cost efficiency and compliance within the not-for-profit sector. This position requires a professional with a strong understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management.

    Description

    • Manage end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve value for money.

    • Maintain and develop supplier relationships to ensure quality and reliability.

    • Analyse procurement data to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.

    • Support tendering processes, including drafting and evaluating tender documents.

    • Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs and deliver tailored solutions.

    • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that arise promptly.

    • Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting of all procurement activities.

    Profile

    • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, ideally within the not-for-profit sector.

    • A strong understanding of procurement principles, practices, and relevant regulations.

    • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

    • Proficiency in using procurement and data analysis tools.

    • A detail-oriented approach with a focus on delivering cost-effective solutions.

    • A relevant qualification or professional certification in procurement or supply chain management.
