PPC Manager

Employer: Pitch Up

Location: Remote, UK

Working hours: Full time

Salary: £40,000 to £50,000

  • Want to work with an award-winning and quickly expanding company? We’re a travel site making it a doddle to book camping, glamping and caravan sites all over the world, with over 6,000 to choose from.

Pitchup.com receives 40m annual visits and up to 9,173 bookings per day - so far we've booked £500m worth of holidays, helping more than 17m holidaymakers make their great escape.

Over the last two years we've launched new desktop and mobile websites with an updated look and feel, led a successful campaign to change the law to open more campsites in the UK, and adapted our search to give disabled travellers the information they need. And - with a fifth of our business coming from outside the UK already - we're just getting going.

You'll join a nimble team of 70 based in 10 countries: we're a 100%-remote business so we all work from home, getting together from time to time when we can. The company is profitable and was founded in 2009 by former lastminute.com staff with a background in the holiday park sector.

Pitchup.com has been featured in leading global media titles, such as BBC News, New York Times, Le Figaro, and more, and has been translated into 17 languages by our in-house translation team. We’re members of the Financial Times' FT1000 fastest growing companies in Europe and recently were awarded the Platinum Trusted Service Award by Feefo, for achieving a customer rating of at least 4.5 out of 5 for six years in a row.

    About the role:

You will run the performance marketing activity alongside the Performance Lead - currently paid search/PPC and paid social, with £2.5m+ annual spend - underpinning ambitious plans for domestic and international growth. As such, the role encompasses optimising ROI/revenue growth, geographic expansion, automation (including monitoring our existing integrations), and supporting the identifying and executing of growth initiatives, including experimentation.

Reporting to the Performance Marketing Lead, and working closely with the Managing Director and Founder, our SEO Lead and Data Scientist, you will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. This is our second in-house performance marketing role as we have transitioned from agency management six months ago, where you’ll support the Performance Lead in growing the paid search and paid social media accounts. We have a strong bias to action as a company, so you should be a "do-er" first and foremost.
