Monday 9-10am, 1.40-2.40pm
Tuesday 8-9am

Friday 1.40-2.40pm
Salary: Full-time equivalent is £33,120 (actual salary of £5,961.6 per year)

Job overview
We have an opportunity for an experienced online Physics Teacher to work in our Hybrid faculty, fully online, with one of our new partner schools. This is a 2 year fixed-term contract with a September 2026 start, with a time allocation of 6.75 hours per week (0.18 contract).
The role is to support our new partnership with the British School of Amsterdam, which is launching in September, with a focus on approaches and techniques to access the top marks.
In practice, the role will include:
Co-teaching two sets of Y12/Lower Sixth students
Pearson Edexcel International A level, focus on Unit 1 & Unit 3
2 hours teaching per set per week (total, 4 hours per week) + 1 meeting
Term-time lessons fixed as follows:

Monday 9-10am, 1.40-2.40pm
Tuesday 8-9am
Thursday 10.30-11.30am
WEEK B
Tuesday 9-10am, 11.30-12.30pm

We are looking for teachers with these essential skills and traits:
Qualified teacher status.
Experience teaching Physics.
Proven experience in guiding students to achieve the highest grades.
Experience and confidence in using a Virtual Learning Platform.
A strong desire to help all students succeed.
Knowledge and experience of a range of teaching approaches and techniques, including those focused on maximising the potential of the online environment.
Strong diagnostic ability and the ability to give targeted advice for improvement.
A strong understanding of the assessment requirements and of the principles of assessment for learning.
Enthusiasm for and competence in making the most of technology in education.
Experience in collating and creating resources for online learning.
