Overall Purpose
The Partnerships Executive will support the Partnerships Manager in the delivery of NHS Charities Together’s corporate partnerships and philanthropic relationships, with a particular
focus on providing excellent stewardship and engagement for existing corporate partners. The role will support the coordination of partnership activity, partner communications, impact
reporting and the delivery of agreed commitments, helping to build positive and long-term relationships.
Working closely with the Philanthropy Manager, the post holder will also support the research and development of a pipeline of new corporate partnership opportunities, helping to identify
prospective partners and prepare materials to support cultivation activity.
Overall Objectives• To support the delivery of excellent stewardship and engagement for existing corporate partners.
• To support the Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager in the delivery and development of corporate partnerships and philanthropic relationships.
• To support the research and development of new corporate partnership opportunities.
• To coordinate partner communications, engagement activity and impact reporting.
• To support the effective administration and reporting of partnership activity.
• To work collaboratively as part of the Development Team to support fundraising and income generation objectives.
Key Responsibilities
The main duties and responsibilities of the role holder are as outlined below:
Corporate Partnership Stewardship & Support
Support the Partnerships Manager with the day-to-day stewardship and engagement of corporate partners.
• Assist with the delivery of partner communications, impact reporting, recognition and engagement activity.
• Support the delivery of agreed partnership benefits and commitments, ensuring actions are coordinated effectively.
• Maintain positive relationships with allocated corporate partners, acting as a helpful and responsive point of contact for agreed areas of activity.
• Support the collection of impact stories and information to demonstrate the difference corporate partnerships make to NHS Charities and the NHS.
• Keep records of partner engagement, communications, meetings and agreed actions up to date.
Partnership Development & Pipeline Support
• Support the Partnerships Manager with research into prospective corporate partners and new partnership opportunities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospective partners, including research, engagement activity and next steps.
• Assist with the preparation of prospect briefings, presentations, cases for support and other materials to support cultivation activity.
• Support the coordination of prospect meetings, introductions and follow-up actions, as directed by the Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager.
• Contribute ideas and insight to support the identification of new corporate partnership opportunities.
Philanthropy & Wider Partnership Support
• Support the stewardship and engagement of Payroll Giving supporters and philanthropic supporters, including members of The Bevan Circle, as appropriate.
• Assist with the delivery of supporter communications, engagement activity and impact reporting.
• Support the Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager with the delivery of agreed partnership activity, events and projects.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across NHS Charities Together and member charities to support successful partnership activity.
Data, Reporting & Team Contribution
• Ensure donor and partner records are accurate, up to date and appropriately maintained on Raiser’s Edge.
• Support portfolio, income and pipeline reporting, providing information to the Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager as required.
• Assist with due diligence, gift agreements and other partnership administration.
• Contribute to the wider Development Team, supporting fundraising activity and sharing learning from partner stewardship.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant fundraising trends and innovations, particularly within corporate partnerships and philanthropy.
