Working hours: full-time or part-time basis

Salary: £27,000 - £41,000 depending on qualifications & experience

  • Buttercups Training are part of Lyceum Education Group, and we are a specialist, market leading training provider within the pharmacy and healthcare industry.  We have a track record of delivering high quality training programmes to pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and healthcare support staff with high achievement rates.
     
     As we continue to expand, we are seeking qualified Pharmacists or Pharmacy Technicians to join our team as Tutors on either a full-time or part-time basis. In this role, you will engage, motivate, and inspire learners pursuing a range of pharmacy related apprenticeships and qualifications.

    Main responsibilities

    • Responsible for a caseload of learners and providing a learner centred experience that ensures successful learner outcomes

    • Facilitating high quality Virtual Classroom delivery to groups of learners across a range of content, demonstrating effective pedagogical practice and adaptive delivery

    • Effectively assess and feedback on learners work and submissions in line with organisational procedures supporting continuous improvement of professional development

    • Providing appropriate tutorial support and mandatory learner sessions to support achievement of the learners on the learner’s programme

    • Effectively use ICT and web-based applications to engage with all students, staff and stakeholders alike

    • Working collaboratively and maintaining strong working relationships with academics and stakeholders in the interest of learners whilst meeting the needs of employers

    • Working effectively both independently and as part of team, engaging with peers and quality assurers to prioritise learner needs

     

    What we’re looking for

    To be successful in this role you will need to have a proven track record in the following areas:

    • Registered Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician

    • A sound knowledge of pharmacy qualifications

    • Knowledge of the Further Education and Skills Sector and associated regulatory requirements i.e. Ofsted

    • Prior experience in a teaching, training or mentoring role would be advantageous

    • Prior experience working remotely and utilising proficient ICT and web-based communication methods including the MS Suite and Teams

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills

    • Demonstrable experience of being able to engage, motivate and inspire learners
