  The Opportunity

  We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE & Power Platform Data Architect to support a major Dynamics 365 transformation programme. Joining an established data team, you will work alongside the existing Data Architect, providing additional delivery capacity across a growing workload.

  Your primary focus will be designing and delivering data import pipelines using Power Platform Dataflows and Power Query. Once these are operational, you will contribute to migrating historical CRM data into Dynamics 365 CE using KingswaySoft, while also providing advisory support on data-related platform enhancements as needed.

  Experience within the fundraising, charity, or not-for-profit sector, particularly involving Raiser's Edge to Dynamics 365 migrations, would be highly advantageous.

  Key Responsibilities

  Data Import Pipeline Delivery (Primary Focus)

  · Design and develop weekly and monthly data import pipelines using Power Platform Dataflows and Power Query

  · Validate solutions alongside the existing data team before go-live

  · Create clear operational documentation and handover materials, enabling internal teams to support and maintain the pipelines independently

  Historical Data Migration

  · Collaborate with the current Data Architect to migrate historical CRM data into Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE

  · Take ownership of agreed migration workstreams to enable parallel delivery

  · Develop, configure and execute migration packages using KingswaySoft

  Data Function Support

  · Provide additional data delivery capacity across the programme

  · Take ownership of key deliverables where workload exceeds existing team capacity

  · Ensure documentation, knowledge transfer and long-term maintainability are embedded throughout delivery

  Solution Advisory (Desirable)

  · Assess critical functional gaps within Dynamics 365 and advise on potential third-party solutions

  · Support procurement and stakeholder teams with solution-fit assessments

  · Identify and raise associated data requirements early in the evaluation process

  Essential Experience

  · Proven experience as a Data Architect or Senior Data Consultant on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE projects

  · Strong expertise in Power Query, including the development of production-grade data import pipelines

  · Hands-on experience with Power Platform Dataflows for recurring and scheduled data imports

  · Proven delivery of data migration projects using KingswaySoft

  · Experience migrating historical CRM data into Dynamics 365 CE

  · Ability to work effectively alongside existing architecture and delivery teams

  · Strong documentation, knowledge transfer and stakeholder communication skills
