Location: Fully remote - being based in the South of the UK would be beneficial as there will be a very occasional requirement to attend the office.
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000/annum bonus

Morgan McKinley is partnering exclusively with a fast growing Insurance business, to recruit a Management Accountant.
My client is looking to double in size in 2026, and this role will be fully remote and reporting directly to the CFO, in a lean and high performing finance function. Being based in the South of the UK would be beneficial as there will be a very occasional requirement to attend the office.
The Role
The role will be varied, including routine month end work and then two weeks of more project based work, looking at driving efficiencies and automations.
Responsibilities will include:Day-to-day management accounting of the Group's entities, including management accounts preparation and reporting
Support across a wide range of projects
Management reporting and financial control
Support the quarterly and annual budgeting and forecasting processes
Lead month-end journal preparation across all group entities
Help to define processes for accounting management and financial reporting, through leveraging technology and AI
Monitoring daily cash flow
Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial close journals and reconciliation
Supporting the annual statutory audits for all legal entities
The Person
The successful candidate will ideally be a Qualified Accountant with strong management accounting skills and experience of working in the Insurance industry essential.
You must possess strong Excel skills (VLookup / Pivots), and have the confidence and experience to design new repeatable processes and do things your own way.
You will need a hands-on approach and great attention to detail, and the confidence to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
