    • Produce cash flow forecasts and support working capital management

    Compliance & Controls

    • Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory filings

    • Improve and document finance processes and internal controls

    Event Accounting & Client Support

    • Lead on event accounting – support clients in reconciling sales data, calculating revenue shares, and producing accurate event-by-event financial statements

    • Handle client-facing finance queries, ensuring prompt and professional responses

    Business Partnering

    • Assist in budgeting and forecasting, providing financial insights to leadership
Partner with operational teams to translate financial data into actionable insights

    • Work closely with the CFO on ad-hoc analysis and strategic projects

    • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent), with at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience

    • Strong background in management accounts

    • Confident working with large data sets and cloud accounting tools (Xero desirable)

    • Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail

    • Clear communicator who can explain finance concepts to both colleagues and clients

    • Organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a remote-first environment

    Personal qualities

    • Detail-driven and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership

    • Deadline-focused, able to balance priorities effectively

    • Collaborative and solutions-focused – someone who asks “how do we fix this?” rather than “who’s to blame?”

    • Curious, proactive, and excited to learn across the business
