We're currently recruiting for a Temporary Legal Cashier to join a well-established law firm on an ongoing temporary assignment running until the end of December. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced legal finance professional looking for a fully remote role with a quick start.
Location: Remote (with 2-3 days in the Liverpool Street office for handover and training)
Pay Rate: £16 per hour
Contract: Temporary until the end of December
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role
Working within the Finance team, you'll support the cashiering function and assist with a variety of legal accounting duties, including:
Processing office account CHAPS & BACS payments
Processing supplier invoices for approval and payment
Supporting daily cashiering activities and meeting key deadlines
Assisting with accounting queries and requests
Maintaining accurate financial records and systems
Providing support to the wider finance team as required
What We're Looking For
Previous experience working as a Legal Cashier or within Legal Accounts is essential
Strong understanding of legal accounting processes and SRA Accounts Rules
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
A proactive and team-oriented approach
