Working hours: full-time, 35 hours per week

Salary: £33,002 to £36,636 per annum, dependent upon experience

  • We're now seeking a Learning Technologist who is passionate about raising the profile and reputation of Falmouth University through improving learning and teaching across all Falmouth courses with a key focus on technology, online delivery, digital assessment and interactive learning resources.

     

    Digital Learning are a forward-thinking specialist team within the institution who work in partnership with academic departments to develop services and courses for blended and fully online delivery. The team lead project work in relation to digital learning and provide technical assistance and support to wider Digital projects.

     

    This position represents a great opportunity to join an energetic group of creative learning technologists, passionate about enhancing and developing learning and teaching through use of appropriate digital tools.

    About You

    The successful candidate will be committed to facilitating engaging learning journeys within creative subject areas. You will provide clear advice and support in the development and use of digital technology to support institutional learning initiatives and enhance the student-learning journey.

     

    The role requires a highly organised individual who has previous experience of working within educational technology and is a strong advocate of digital learning tools and approaches. This is a fast-paced role and we’re looking for a person who has the energy and commitment needed to ensure the work we do is sector leading.

     

    We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience:

     

    • Excellent communication skills.

    • Knowledge of using and administering open-source learning / content management systems.

    • Experience in the use of digital tools to enhance learning and teaching.

    • Previous experience of working in a supportive, technology focused environment.

    This is a permanent, full time, 35 hours a week position across Monday-Friday. We are able to offer a remote working arrangement for this role, if required, which can be discussed further at interview.  If taking up the position remotely, the successful candidate would need to be based within the UK.

     

    The closing date for the position is Wednesday 7 January 2026.

     

    Interviews are provisionally scheduled for the week beginning the 26 January and 2 February 2026.
