      About the role:

For us – learning experience design looks at how people learn, not just what they learn. It is person-centred, evidence based and created with a clear purpose.

      • Design engaging learning experiences (digital, face to face and virtual) that align with Mencap’s priorities and goals.

      • Apply design thinking and learning experience principles to develop high-quality, accessible and impactful learning.

      • Create clear learning objectives and collaborate with colleagues throughout the development process.

      • Use data and insight to inform design, decision-making and continuous improvement.

      • Help shape and evolve our learning offer and approach.

      • Help nurture a values-led culture of belonging and continuous learning through what you create and how you work with others.

      About you:

You are a creative learning professional, with a passion for helping everyone to learn and grow. You bring:

      • Experience of designing learning that has had a positive impact (including digital, virtual and face to face).

      • Strong design skills using Microsoft, Adobe and eLearning authoring tools (preferably Articulate 360).

      • Person-centred, impact-led and evidence-based ways of working.

      • Highly effective communication, project management and visual design skills.

      • A working understanding of how to effectively apply learning design principles and adult learning theory.

      • An understanding of modern learning management systems, and how to get the most of technology to support learning.

We hope you are feeling excited about the role. More information can be found in the Job Description about what the role involves and what we are looking for.

This vacancy closes on Sunday 15th March and interviews will be held on Microsoft Teams week beginning 23rd March.
