PermanentWe’re looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Learning & Development professional who is passionate about developing people, driving engagement, and creating meaningful learning experiences that support organisational success.
You’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive learning and development strategy that enhances employee skills, supports career growth, and strengthens succession planning across the business.
This is a highly collaborative role where you’ll work closely with leaders, managers, and teams across the organisation to ensure learning initiatives align with business objectives and create measurable impact.

The role offers variety and strategic influence across learning delivery, talent development, succession planning, e-learning, performance management, and employee engagement.
What you’ll do:
• Develop and implement a learning and development strategy aligned with organisational goals
• Conduct learning needs assessments to identify development opportunities across the business
• Design, deliver, and evaluate engaging training programmes and workshops
• Utilise a range of learning methods including in-person, virtual, and blended learning approaches
• Create clear career pathways to support progression into critical and hard-to-fill roles
• Support and coach high-potential employees through tailored development plans
• Contribute to succession planning initiatives to build future leadership capability
• Collaborate with managers and People Business Partners to address performance and development needs
• Oversee and continuously improve e-learning platforms and learning resources
• Manage the learning and development budget effectively
• Build strong relationships with senior leaders and external training providers
• Analyse learning data and report on programme effectiveness and impact
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and employee engagement across the organisationWhat we’re looking for:
• Experience designing and delivering training programmes and workshops for a range of learning styles and abilities
• Strong understanding of learning methodologies, techniques, and development approaches
• Experience using HR systems and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Confidence communicating and building relationships with colleagues at all levels
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work strategically while delivering practical and engaging learning solutionsNice to have:
• Experience in or understanding of the Early Years sector
• Experience supporting talent development and succession planning initiatives
• Knowledge of e-learning design and digital learning toolsWhat you’ll get:
