We are seeking an experienced interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our client on a contract basis. This strategic role is vital to support the company's ongoing growth and financial leadership during a key period of transformation.
As the interim CFO, you will be instrumental in shaping financial strategies, ensuring robust financial planning, and providing expert guidance to support sustainable development. This is a unique opportunity to influence high-level decision-making in a dynamic environment as part of an organisation recognised for its innovative approach within the industry.
This position will be starting in December for 12-18 months. It can be carried out on a 3-5 day per week, FULLY REMOTE basis and paid on a daily rate!
Key responsibilities include:
Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's long-term goals
Provide insight and advice to senior management on financial planning and risk management
Lead financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies
Collaborate with executive teams to optimise financial performance and operational efficiency
Essential skills & experience:
Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role, particularly as a CFO or equivalent
Strong background in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
Experience managing complex financial structures and stakeholder relationships
Sound understanding of governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements
Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and leadership capabilities
