Help shape the next chapter of Animal Aid – and the future of animal rights.
For almost 50 years, Animal Aid has been one of the UK’s leading animal rights organisations. As we embark on an ambitious strategy to 2030, we’re looking for an exceptional Head of Fundraising to lead the growth of our income and supporter base that will lead to the next stage of impact for animals.
This is a pivotal senior leadership role at an exciting moment in Animal Aid’s development. Working closely with the CEO, Senior Leadership Team and Head of Campaigns and Communications, you’ll lead the development and delivery of ambitious fundraising strategies that secure the resources needed to power our campaigns, investigations, education work and advocacy for animals.
Reporting to the CEO you’ll oversee all aspects of fundraising, including individual giving, direct marketing, digital fundraising, major donor development and legacy fundraising. You’ll play a central role in shaping organisational mobilisation strategies that deepen supporter engagement, strengthen relationships and grow sustainable income.
We’re looking for someone who combines strategic fundraising leadership with strong relationship-building skills, creativity and a track record of delivering income growth.
You’ll bring:
Significant senior-level fundraising experience with a proven record of delivering income growth
Experience leading and developing successful fundraising programmes across multiple income streams.
Strong knowledge of supporter recruitment, retention, stewardship and donor development.
Experience developing fundraising strategies, budgets and performance frameworks.
Excellent relationship-building, communication and leadership skills.
Experience using data and insight to improve supporter engagement and fundraising performance.
The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
A commitment to Animal Aid’s aims and values, and sympathy with our ethical vegan position.
This is a rare opportunity to help shape the future of a respected and influential organisation at a pivotal moment in its growth.
Join us and help build the movement, support and resources that will drive the next generation of progress for animals.
