To plan, coordinate, and deliver strategic change projects arising from government policy, internal improvement initiatives and external developments. The Strategy and Policy Business Partner ensures that Lifetime is well prepared for engagement with ministers, departments, and sector bodies, and that internal change driven by policy is managed in a structured, timely and effective way
What will you bring to the role?
Proven project management experience within an Apprenticeship Training Provider or similar education / skills environment.
Strong understanding of how different functions in a training provider operate (e.g. delivery, quality, funding, compliance, employer engagement).
Able to plan, coordinate, and deliver cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing briefings and summaries for senior leaders.
Strong organisational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage several priorities at once.
Comfortable working with senior stakeholders, challenging constructively, and driving progress.
It would be great if you had:
Specialist experience in an area of educational policy or delivery (reform, product, delivery etc).
Formal project management training or certification (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, APM).
Experience coordinating external stakeholder relationships (e.g. AELP, DfE, ESFA, Ofsted, IfATE).
Curious, politically aware, and motivated by improving the apprenticeship system as well as organisational performance.
