We’ve space for an online GCSE and KS3 Science teacher to join our lovely community from September 2026.

Classes
Tuesdays 1:55-4pm KS3 Topic-based Science
Tuesdays 4:15-5:30pm Teachers’ meeting
Wednesdays 10-12:30pm and 1:30-4pm Edexcel IGCSE Dual award Science
= 7 hours a week of teaching plus 1.25hrs weekly meeting plus 1.4hrs paid admin.
Terms
£39/hr for teaching, £19.19/hr for meetings/admin. An hour of teaching pay is intended to include renumeration for lesson planning. Teachers receive an additional admin payment equivalent to 20% of their teaching hours
To start in September 2026, with training and onboarding arranged at mutually convenient times during the summer term 2026.Interview Timescale
Stage 1 an initial 15-minute informal chat with our directors on Tuesday 2nd June between 1:30pm and 4pm.
Stage 2 Candidates who are invited to the second stage will be invited to an interview with our GCSE coordinator Hannah, our Science Teacher Jo and our school coordinator Nicki on Monday 8th June for 20 minutes between 9:15 and 11:15am.
Final Stage Candidates who are invited to the final stage will be invited to observe a 1st year GCSE Science class on Wednesday 10th June from 10am-11am
They will then be invited to teach the same class for 30 mins the following week and then be interviewed by the students. This will be on Wednesday 17th June between 10am and 12:30pm
